Gigantic Sharks Break Into Ghost Cage | Island of The Mega Shark

The team go into a shark invested zone off the coast of Guadalupe to witness female mega sharks. It is then that some of the sharks attempt to break into the ghost cage!

A friend of mine, who was an experienced diver, went diving for great white sharks protected by a steel cage off the South Australian coastline. When he returned and I asked him how it went he said - it was very unnerving to be in the water with 2 colossal animals that viewed him as food and were hell bent on breaking into the cage to eat him. He was a brave guy normally, but what happened out there really shook him up.

I cannot believe they used ridiculously thin plexiglass. It should be round and much much thicker. Having corners, gives the shark something to bite on. The footage from above, you can see the walls of the cage flexing just due to waves. Clearly even a rather small shark would be able to crash through its sides. This guy was put out there as shark bait. I also noticed there did not seem to be a boat close by. Usually this is done BESIDE a vessel so you can get out quickly to safety.

These people are so fascinated with these sharks that they put their lives at risk when incidents like this happen that could go wrong 😳
