Three sisters, full of talent and filled with the spirit of rock. Haim has been performing since their tween years but are now gaining tons of traction especially with their new album coming out July 7, “Something to Tell you.” Here are 5 facts you may not know about the trio! Este, the eldest of the three ladies, is the only of the three girls with a University degree, their first tour was opening for Julian Casablancas’ band. Their debut was cut short when Julian suggested the band disappear for a while, giving them time to regroup and refocus. They followed the advice of The Strokes’ frontman, and took themselves off the touring circuit to practice and record. This time away paid off in the end, with the girls really discovering their sound.

I literally just learned about HAIM (having seen Alana Haim interviewed on the Kelly Clarkson show for her role in Licorice Pizza) and now am mad that it took this long to find them, they are so incredibly talented!

Danielle is one of the most unique, innovative drummers out there. Haim is really all about the percussion, and her drum patterns are not 'normal' by any standard.

An old, old school rocker here I saw a Live version they did of Peter Green's "Oh Well" and that was it I was a Fan I've followed them on and off since then. These ladies are good anybody says diff is probably a K Pop fan, I always thought the faces Este make while playing are a sign she's really into the music "Bass Face" very fitting

I get that they're women, but it's kind of odd that this is on Ms. Mojo, instead of just the normal Watch Mojo. Plenty of people, male and female, like Haim.
