Acura’s revived-for-2023 Integra sport compact hatchback is essentially an upscale version of the Honda Civic hatchback (Acura is Honda’s luxury division). With the introduction of the high-performance Integra Type S model for 2024, Acura now offers a direct counterpart to the racetrack-ready Civic Type R. Even though the Type R and Type S share the same basic powertrain and platform, however, there are significant differences between the two cars.

Type R would be great if you could get it for 45k. But since it sells for 56k. The type S at cost 52k is the best choice.

I have a 2023 Integra A Spec with the CVT. It's a fantastic vehicle to drive with amazing driving dynamics. I'm sure the Type S is amazing but $52K sounds pretty steep if you could even buy one at MSRP.
