Nice try man. Need some work tho but you gotta start from somewhere. I would suggest taking traction control off, higher rev off the launch maybe 4k, doing this in a safer area and better weather conditions, and maybe even watching some videos to help improve

Bro put that in sport turn off the traction control, rev it up to 4k rpms and drop it in gear launch it for real and double clutch it to 5th gear

The type R is not made for drag racing or 0-60. It's designed to take turns at an incredible pace. Launching it is pretty much insulting it.

I love that gauge cluster, with every temp gauge you could need, as well as the boost, shift lights & more.

They clearly optimized these for track use. (Just look at the 'Ring times). But I just sat in one of these, and it arguably had the nicest/most simple interior of any car at the Chicago auto show.👍

“That was good” guy did a phenomenal job just pushing the pedal down as far as it goes. He has no idea what that crazy violent hopping is. He doesn’t know he just ran a 0-60 time below the tuned Prius. He just knows he’s the best damn drag racer there is.

The Type R is a great car. It is not good at wet-road starts, and accelerating through a series of wet uphill corners when understeer will be a big problem.
