Love my FL5. I picked one up December of 2022 and put 26, 500 miles on it within the year. Someone ran a light, totaled it, and I replaced it with another FL5.

Im a guy who’s owned a variety of cars over the years but my FL5 is my first Honda. Brutally honest 1-month review — I am lovin’ it! Since I live in a warmer climate, some of the Topher’s complaints don’t apply for me. But I’m looking forward to playing follow-the-leader as he mods and refines his car. Thanks Mr. T!

I can’t believe it’s been a year! Thanks for always taking us on the drive. And congrats on boy number 2!

Only thing I hate about the Type R is that I can’t afford it lol.

Kinda bummed I hadn’t found your channel sooner. What a great, straightforward honest review

HUGE miss by Honda, not making enough of these for everyone who wants one. It's the perfect car for enthusiasts starting families, who need practicality in their track toy. But dealers have made sure that it's priced for people with Porsche money, and so out of reach for the type of person it was built for. I have nothing but F U's to give to Honda for allowing it to come to this.

Thanks for that tip about the infotainment system. I disabled the navigation and its running so much better on my '23 Sport Touring.

Loving my FL5.

I would recommend Acuity linkage bushings and Hybrid detent springs - that'll put your shifter right where you want it.

Love mine. I had it for less than a year and have 18k miles on the clock. Absolutely no reliability issues including the infotainment system. It has never locked up. I have the ITS damper module mod as well, but I don’t find the difference as dramatic as others although I’m still glad I did it. I’ve made two suspension mods being Cusco rear sway bar and strut bar. I am also going to keep the ECU stock. The FL5 is just a joy to own and drive.

Regarding "asset adjustment", I'd say nope. I've found 3 in my state within 250 miles and all 3 still have a $8k-$10k markup, with dealers refusing to negotiate. Bummer.

i recently got my FL5 in november and got a flat a few days ago...its currently at the dealership getting the tire changed and it's first maintenance done on it. I havent been this happy daily driving the FL5 since i had to get rid of my FK8 because of work issues and i honestly love the FL5 and love driving it ... its insane how much i actually enjoy just driving even for daily stuff, and i do agree with some of the annoying things, but if you find a way past it...its just amazing.

I agree, Honda Civics have some really magic into that, and you see that even in the base editions, they drive much more differently compared to many cars, as you progress from the base, sport, si, type r, you see that magic amplified. One day Il probably get a type r to really express the honda tribute.

You're not kidding about the rough roads. I'm leaning so hard to pick up an FL5 at local dealership. Thanks for the update.

Sold my S2K as I needed more practical car, got the Fl5 done 8K … very practical and very fun to drive … I don’t have three carplay issue as it’s very smooth with me … The one we get in our country has factory spare tyre and also alcentara steering wheel …

I love my FL5 too, best car I ever own so far. Picked it up May 2023 and put 18k miles within the past 10 months.
