It's the Honda pedal dance. To fully disable TCS:
1. Turn car on
2. Parking brake off
3. Press and hold brake pedal
4. Turn traction control on and off
5. Release brake pedal
6. Parking brake on
7. Turn traction control on and off
8. Press and hold brake pedal
9. Turn traction control on and off
10. Traction control light should be solid and another light blinking

I’m gonna hold out for the Odyssey Type R

It's a shame it will be so limited and dealer markups are already insane. Thanks Honda for building a sports car for the masses that nobody can find or afford.

Normally I dont watch videos on vehicles I have no interest in...and I have no interest in the Type R.
That being said...I never miss a straight pipes video. No matter the vehicle.
Great job as always guys.

Talked to two dealers here in the US So far near me. One wants 10k markup and the other 25k markup. Insane

I got an allocation for it, but the dealer was asking 60k USD for it. I do not think a CTR is worth that much. 44k USD itself I feel is a high upper bound. This combined with the high interest rates. Makes more sense to buy a slightly used m2 comp all day long

For sure grown on me. Maybe it was the vast departure that made me think it wasn’t great at the beginning. But I’m also into the over styled 10th gen. This 11th gen one will be a blank canvas for the aftermarket.

This is the first Type R that I thought looked good. Usually they look like life-size Hotwheels

Yuri - the more childish a car is designed, the more he'll like it
Jakub - the cleaner/more pro a car is designed, the more he'll approve of the looks.

I'm definitely with Jakub hehe

Everything that Yuri likes about the looks of the FK Type R is is everything that I hated about it. 🤣

One of the first awesome car videos I remember watching was TheStraightPipes review of the 2017 Type R. I'm actually feeling a bit emotional.

I am not sure why, and I don’t think you mentioned it in your review, but the fact that his wears 265 tires is the most impressive thing for me :)

THANK YOU for swapping back to 24fps. I am shocked that’s the only difference, I could have sworn the color profile or exposure or something was different on the 60fps videos. In any case, much prefer the “old” look.

I'm glad Honda has kept the petrol head spirit alive with the new Type R. Rest of the new line up is quite disappointing. Especially the new Accord. Used to be kind of a stock sleeper with that 2.0l Turbo. Not any more though...
