I have the Rallye Red, the car is incredible. The small missing creature comforts are easily forgiven with the overall driving experience. I had a Golf R before this, and you nailed it, Golf was a very capable and comfortable car but felt abit like driving a go kart. The driving experience on the Type R is unmatched in its class IMO.

You know it's a seriously impressive hot hatch when Paul can't say a word when he's pushing it to it's limits and enjoying every second of it! 🤣 I do love this design... it's aggressively tasteful! 🤔😜 Sadly, like your old Supra Paul (loved that thing!), it's definitely out of my price range! 😰

I do agree with you, Paul, it's a great design. I love it! But with $70K plus for FWD and non LED tailight, it's a lot I would go with AWD VW.

This thing, is f*cking PHENOMENAL. If you're in the market for one, just buy it. Don't even waste your time looking at anything else - they might as well be plastic go-karts by comparison.

It is ithe undisputed king of manual hot hatches ever built. If you need further proof, just compare how Paul's expressions change through the course of the video....
