One of the worst part of being so unmotivated is you don't know how to explain it to your parents who always thinks "Nah, that's laziness"

Seems like every time I'm on YouTube and you just randomly pop up, you're video is something I'm struggling with. You've really helped me out with your videos since 2021. Thank you

The amount of guilt that comes along with having motivation issues is enormous.
I use the 3 minute rule a lot which helps, but I've had times when I was so depressed that I couldn't even convince myself to do that. =/

I think we’ve all been at this point in life. Sometimes stress is so overwhelming you become completely unmotivated and that can look like laziness but really you’re just overworked. I’ve definitely been there before. Thank you for sharing 💜

To the *incredible person* seeing this, I wish you all the best in life❤ don't over blame yourself, accept things and go forward. Don't let others define what “success” is for you. Get up, learn the skills needed and get after it, all the keys to a happy life is in your hands. Keep pushing.

People keep saying I'm lazy but I'm actually unmotivated
I don't think I have a reason to be awake and everyday feels like the same :<

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, eating well, adequate exercise, proper sleep levels helps to create motivation when it seems to have expired. 😎

I've not ever had a routine that I remember. My parents would punish me for having any sort of routine by telling me I was insane and obsessed, and that I was ruining the family by being a weirdo. Got the same sort of response for anything I did that was positive. Eventually I learned that I am completely worthless and I never picked up the basics of existing as anything other than a catatonic tool for committing fraud.

Totally relatable, ty for the video, i was starting feeling lost and “lazy”, also it’s been hard to add a stable structure to my daily ‘cause i get so frustrated that i quit just to come back 2 weeks later. You made me realize that i’m actually establishing many big goals for doing it in only a day
Now i know which area of myself i gotta work, tysm, i really appreciate your hard work and dedication for helping others
Keep it up! ✨💖

Discipline is the key, visualize what you wanna do, break things into as small as possible tasks, think about what you've been doing wrong repeatedly cuz of your anxiety, depression or traumatic triggers, take a deep breath then slow your thoughts and focus on what you need to do NOW and not what you'll need to do literally months from now....and as a depressed person like me, I feel how lack of motivation and hopelessness are. You may feel guilty about what you didn't do or what you missed so you make unrealistic goals to compensate for the past you messed up. Take things easy on yourself and the snowball effect will take care of the rest of the job. improving by 1% everyday for years is better than being better 100% for like 1 week than get burned out. What contributed to me not doing things is being scared of failing, but I realized that true failure is not even trying. Failure is the only way to success. Being overstimulated by instant gratification activities like social media and addictive junk food makes us prefer the safe and easy route instead of doing the things that will actually matter later for years to come, it's how our brains work, we prefer easy and rewarding tasks so putting in effort for a hard task won't be as appealing as watching an entertaining video or even worse, watching an educational video thinking we actually learned something without even implementing what we learned. If you're unmotivated rn even if you're depressed like me and still get haunted by the past, just do First step is always the hardest but if you think of it as a challenge for yourself that you deep down know you can do then after this video go and do at least one thing related to what you're supposed to do. I can't help you, this channel can't help you, your family can't help you, even God won't help you (only the way is paved for you but you still have to go through that road that's what I meant concerning God) so go change and improve yourself inorder to change the world! I'm now going to study after not doing so for 3 weeks and anxiety is literally eating me alive but I am not weak and so are you all.

I honestly am feeling hopelessness right now, and that I'm not that feeling motivated to change or do other things, since I always ruminate bad things that had happened. I kept torturing myself, and that my mental health is getting worse. Your channel seems to be like a best friend by my side, since it keeps reminding me of the things which I want to hear coming from a friend! 😊

Thank you Ma'am and to your team! 🙂
If I may to ask question, how to not get stuck to this feeling? I mean, I want to be better, but I don't have the courage or anything to get me fueled up to do new things in life.

Points 1, 2 and 3.
1 - I have nothing to look forward to in life. No relationship, no inheritance, only inane hobbies and a few voluntary obligations, mostly for the benefit of others. Most things around me reinforce the feeling that aside from being a jester and a support utility, I'm a failure at life, kept at an arm's reach by everyone.
2 - My line of work involves a fairly high risk of burnout, so I would need time and space to recover from it. Ironically, I have no such time and space, because...
3 - I'm stuck with my insufferable parents (a workaholic 'Karen' and a depressed aspie) and a grandma succumbing to dementia, and I'm almost 38. This isn't home for me, and recent circumstances bricked whatever chances I had for escaping this unmanaged asylum. My only luck is that I have my sister here, since we're in the same boat and we can at least discuss our grievances every now and then.
