Christi goes over how to send encrypted emails using Outlook through Microsoft Office 365's Azure service. She covers how to send an encrypted email from your Outlook ap on a computer. What it looks like when you've sent one (how to know it was encrypted). We will review what it looks like to receive the email on a non Microsoft account like Gmail. She then covers how to send an encrypted email without using the button by setting up a key phrase that when used in the subject will encrypt the message automatically. She briefly cover do not forward before showing how to send an encrypted attachment in the email. Lastly she shows you how to send an encrypted email from the outlook app on your mobile device. Use these techniques to send HIPAA compliant email! Stick around until the end for the blooper reel :)

Just remember that Microsoft can see all your emails, even when they are encrypted. Specially after the new 2023 Microsoft Guidelines.

I can't send from my Outlook to gmail. Outlook cannot encrypt the message because the recipient's certificate does not exist. What should I do?

So who ever is intercepting any email from the recipient, can click on the one time passcode link, intercept the code, use it to log in and read the message. Where is the safety in that? Only PGP with a shared key is truly secure, I think.

and here you can see it is sent and it is encrypted... but it still shows the FULL TEXT in plain text... so anyone that looks at the pc can see everything = the encryption is useless... anyone that remote desktop in would be able to read it all too... the "test" should have been FULLY ENCRYPTED and look like garbled text... it didn't = worthlesss...

and in gmail if someone has access to your account and they JUST need to ask for a onetime passcode and tadaa it pops up in the exact same mailbox? that's not secure AT ALL...
