Microsoft Purview Message Encryption is offered as part of Office 365 Enterprise E3 and E5, Microsoft 365 Enterprise E3 and E5, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Office 365 A1, A3, and A5, and Office 365 Government G3 and G5. You don't need additional licenses to receive the new protection capabilities powered by Azure Information Protection.

I would like to receive client information e.g. registration forms and wondered if there's a way to receive this securely without breaching GDPR? Either by email or Microsoft Forms perhaps? Conscious that by email, the client might not have encryption software.

January 5, 2024 Using Outlook 365. There is no "Encrypt" button under options. Thus can't do anything the author describes. No idea what to do.

There is no option to encrypt in Outlook unless you have enterprise plans. We have to use webmail to encrypt.
