Steel, Wood & Concrete | Remote Off Grid Cabin Building Project

All of our steel decking for the ceiling of the safe room has arrived and been placed in location. We also completed filling the remaining block cells with concrete and started working on anchoring down the steel plates. As we work to prepare the safe room for the next concrete pour, we also completed the center roof line and hip rafter install. This leaves us with one final ridge beam yet to be lifted into place. Our remote off grid building project of steel, wood and concrete is coming together!

We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. Josh and Erin just amazes me on what they do and get done, not everyone can do what they do, renovated a Bed and breakfast house, renovated their beautiful coffee shop, plus build their home, i mean its incredible to me, and to top it off most of it, like i would say 90% was done by then 2 alone, that is incredible to me. They are healthy and young, their kids especially the boys are growing up to be the best young men, Ellie is still the she has learned so so happy for this family, God has blessed them and well deserved, they've earned it. And the animals well taken care of. Ellie loves them. I can see ellie becoming a veterinarian in the future.
