This trick would work if you were mounting something to a wall where the weight force was perpendicular to the hole.

For heavy duty/ loading, Air brick insertions are strengthened by a special injected product, but you will need professional advice as the product is rapid setting.
Interesting video why do they show the destruction of the hole when removing this type of anchor? There should be a better explanation in the comments by the experts.

When done using a proper hole, would you expect similar chipping to happen inside? Brick or concrete? Thanks!

These types of anchors don’t come out (easily) so this would be a more permanent solution, these work great in the field

I have 4 inch hollow brick layer over the regular brick-cement wall. How can I fix my split AC on such a wall. Anchor bolts are not that long.

The bricks at mine must be only about as strong as that breeze block because these don’t tighten just crumble the brick and pull out like it does in this cross cut on soft block 😅

Misguiding video. The hole is partial for creating the video, thereby the concrete provides very little retaining force for the anchor.

put some Epoxy in there before and then do it and hope for the best or what?

Also that’s a sleeve anchor ment for masonry not concrete. Wedge anchor or epoxy anchor works best
