Just take magnesium with it and you will be able to sleep even earlier

I find it helps to turn lights down early in the evening and if I want to look at any device emitting blue light, I wear Dave Asprey’s true dark glasses. Andrew Huberman also recommends having some night lights in strategic places like the bathroom so you don’t have to turn on a bright light in the middle of the night, which could push your melatonin levels down. Also get outside early to get some early morning light.

I tried melatonin for 30 days. I didn't see the slightest change in my sleep. I also got insomnia from brain damage. I may need to try something else. I was taking Seroquel and that worked like a champ. But my insurance messed up and now I'm stuck in my insomnia state again. Because it's totally understandable but it's all about the money. No money = no quality of life.

I just started taking it so I could stay asleep. I had no problem passing out by 8 pm. But was waking by 1 or 2 am.

Why push yourself past 2am to get work done when you can just go to bed and hit it in the morning?

Funny that we have to find megadose options for melatonin because of MIT having a patent for doses under 1mg. But at least you can break apart 1mg tablets and not have TOO much of a megadose. Huberman thinks that it would not be good to take megadoses of melatonin for extended periods because it's directly replacing a hormone, which is dangerous territory. Taking high doses of Vitamin D around breakfast and getting lots of sunlight can help to get good levels of it to get tired at the right time since Vitamin D / sunlight help create melatonin.

I either get sleepy at 10 to 11, if I missed it then after 2, if i missed even that, then 4.

Please watch/read stuff from Russel J Reiter. I found a book from him about melatonin and that made me look into it some more. And now since this year I decided to take melatonin every night before I go to sleep. Not perse for my sleep but for the other health benefits it provides. So please, look into some lectures/interviews with Russel J Reiter. He did a lot of research into melatonin.

3:00 The thing I hate the most is when you are given a medication for something like sleep/ADHD and then the HCP turns around and tells you you're addicted to it and they're going to start reducing it. It makes me wonder if they've got anything going on upstairs or of they're a brainless protocol monkey.

I'm so confused about how much to take of Melatonin. Dr. Brad Stanfield says to take .33mcg of melatonin; Dr. Eric Berg recommends 70mg for women and 110 for men.

For about 2 months now I am taking 40mg (2 x 20mg) of melatonin. It definitely help me curing my insomnia. It works even better if you use it with multi magnesium (10 in 1).

I take melatonin and it helps me to sleep however i would only sleep for 2-3 hours max. Then i would wake up again unable to sleep . It does not help with chronic insomnia and interrupted sleep
