I love how Americans make their medical professionals wear their doctor getups on TV.

I don't have a hard time falling asleep, I have a hard time staying asleep.

I took melatonin for the first time when I was already sleepy. I wanted to see if it would help me go to bed faster. I took 2/3rds the recommended dose because it was my first time. I was so knocked out during sleep that I didn't wake up to go to the bathroom and wet myself in my sleep.

I’ve taken about 5-10mg of melatonin everyday for the past few months and it’s really helped me with getting solid sleep every night. No side effects or anything

I have problem staying asleep. Usually I’ll sleep for 4-6 hours and wake up in the middle of the night. More than often I’ll be woken up because of dreams. My mind will some joe realize it’s dreaming and I’ll wake up. And a soon as I wake up I know I was dreaming.

I'm 68 and over the years my sleep has become worse and worse. I usually can fall asleep but two sleep cycles later (about 3 hours) I wakeup and usually lay there about an hour and a half to two hour and then I sleep about and hour more. About a week ago I started taking two melatonin gummies and was frankly shocked at the immediate effect this had on my sleep. I'm sleeping about 5 to 6 hours straight through, laying awake about 30 minutes and then sleeping for another 2 to 3 hours. It's incredible!

So, once again, more doesn't mean better.
That's what I needed to hear.
I think I've been using too much Melatonin.
Too groggy in the morning hours.

I’ve taken melatonin, the recommended dose on the bottle, and it always gives me anxiety, and can make me feel uneasy. Also, I get bad dreams and wake a couple of times during sleep. I guess it’s different for everyone. But definitely don’t take the whole thing if it’s your first time. Learn how it’ll affect you individually.

Melatonin is saving my life. I take 0.3mg, not 5mg like some do. I take it 10-12hours before I want to wake up. It's shifts your clock forward, making me wake up easier and feel fresh in the morning. Doesn't really help me fall asleep directly. I had huge drowsiness until noon, now I am more productive in the morning.

I started taking 3mg of Melatonin before bed to help me sleep through the night. I started feeling depressed and couldn’t figure out why because usually I don’t have to deal with depression at all. I felt this heavy, dark cloud pressing down on me that I couldn’t shake. Finally, I looked up the side effects of Melatonin because that was the only new thing I had added to my every day routine. I found out one of the possible side effects of Melatonin is depression. So I stopped taking it and the depression lifted. I’m not saying this will happen to everyone. This was just my experience with it.

Why couldn’t he just have worn normal clothes😂 like we weren’t gonna believe he was a doctor. Even if you didn’t, someone can very well go buy scrubs and say “I’m a MD” when they’re not.

I find best way to sleep is to eat my supper/dinner about half hour before bed; a full stomach makes me so relaxed and easy to slumber away. But no alcohol!

There is also cellular melatonin made in our cells by the near infra red light from the sun and has a different function than sleep.
