War city suvs: Toyota RAV4 2013 vs VW Tiguan 2014

The drag race at the end is driver dependent.
Tiguan's engine (2013) was much (much) stronger (the reviewer was wrong):
Rav4: 176 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque Tiguan: 200 hp and 207 lb-ft + turbo
The driver in the test lost the race. Not the car.

couple of factual mistakes.. tiguan 6 speed automatic is 6 speed dsg, it also has 7 speed DQ500 dsg which has wet clutches and launch control.

New Toyotas have the electric parking brake to I was just looking at a 2021 Toyota Corolla had an electric so don't say you'll never see those in a Toyota
