Just purchased the 2023 RAV4 XLE Prime, thought that I really did my homework, but somehow I missed the many reported issues surrounding cracked windshields… 4 days after my purchase, leaving the dealership, a pebble or small rock hit the windshield and cracked it. The crack traveled about 12 inched after the impact. So I goggled issues with RAV4 windshields and low and behold, the flood gates were opened. So this is my pay it forward moment. Your welcome

@ 8:08 it's stated that the starting price of the XSE Prime is $47, 545 to start. I just buit a 2023 RAV4 Hybrid XSE with most expensive option package ($3, 665), only accsesory add-on was mudgaurds $129, dest charge $1, 335, total MSRP $42, 439. The Limited (maxed out) is $43, 959, so how come $47, 545 is stated here? Is Toyota's website build cost wrong, or is this site considering an average dealer mark-up of around $5K?

I just bought the 2023 LE had the dealer install heated seats and wanted FWD nothing else.
I did not want to pay for a bunch of stuff on the XLE that we did not want like push buttton start and start to stop which we did not like on the one we test drove.

2023 RAV4 CarPlay Navigation Issues while connect your phone to use the Apple Map or Google Map. The issues with their navigation over Apple CarPlay randomly putting them off-road, on parallel roads, or even off the route completely, like taking an exit ramp you're not on. If you are own one RAV4 2023, please test it out to see if you having an issue with the CarPlay. Toyota knew the issue.

I don't know if Toyota will take this seriously or not, but it's been so long for them to fix it. I hope more people know about it and complain to your Toyota dealer and open case with Toyota Brand Engagement Center, so they can take action faster.

Im Moment versucht Toyota nicht, die Fehler des RAV4 zu beheben. 1. Seilzug 2. Lenker (wird immer schwerer) 3. Aufhängung Alle Teile, die mit der Aufhängung zu tun haben, sind aus Stahl. Honda hingegen verwendet Aluminium. 4. Der Toyota ist immer noch teuer und wird es nächstes Jahr noch mehr sein.

The rav4 remote start is crap. After remote starting, when you unlock/open the door the engine turns off. The remote does not open windows. Honda, Ford, GM.... keeps the engine running and can open windows. Plus, in the rav4 you have to keep reselecting settings after restarting, like the active cruise control distance, sport or normal mode, stop/start... The wireless andriod does not connect half time. I wish i never bought this.

Tesla Model Y passed Toyota RAV4 sales first time in the US in the first quarter of 2023. That surprises a lot of people because Model Y starts at $47k and RAV4 starts at $27k. What is happening is the awareness of TOC (total cost of ownership) is spreading like wildfire. TOC includes monthly car loan payments, fuel charges, maintenance, insurance and depreciation. Although the sticker price are wildly different, the TOC of both cars are very similar. On top of that, the standard software features and performance specs of Model Y makes its value proposition a no-brainer.
