Hey tony, just wanted to say that you’re a god send mate. Your YouTube content has helped me get mobile and fit again. I was out of work with a really bad hernia all throughout covid waiting on the surgery list.

Two years I Couldn’t even walk let alone work or workout. Post surgery I came across your videos and started to rediscover my love for boxing and training. I was meant to attend physio therapy but instead opted for following your videos and putting your free content to work.

I’ve been back at work, healthy and most importantly fighting fit. Not only did your content help me get back on my feet it’s also helped my mental health, get into a routine and gain more discipline!

I just wanted to say thank you, I know you’ve many of fans but I can’t help but feel the need to personally thank you mate. Haven’t felt this good about myself in years, away to start back at my old boxing gym and get straight to sparring 🥊 ❤

Going for double leg or single leg can be really dangerous if you've not practiced that properly. He will instinctively grab your neck into guillotine and while you drive him down you'll fall with him head first to the ground. Happened to me many times doing bjj. It's not that bad when it happens on a soft mat but I definitely don't want that to happen on a concrete.

The leg thing... an easier way if you are lighter is to grab one leg. Then run forward. They are guaranteed to go down backwards. But don't go to the ground with them. Never go to the ground.

Even when Tony tries to look sloppy, he still moves very elegant and like a professional fighter.

As someone who wrestled in the past, the takedown is an excellent way to stop a bigger opponent, especially if you stand for just a moment after the feint and get the bully to commit to a punch, as they are then almost completely defenseless against the takedown.

Useful tips. It's worth repeating that by far the best approach is to try and de-escalate and escape from the situation. I would probably avoid using a takedown unless you are confident you will have an advantage on the ground.

Plan A: Run
Plan B: With evil intentions, kick the balls with the top of your foot as fast and hard as possible, completely smashing the target (without losing your balance)
Plan C: Run
Plan D: Follow Tony assuming you trained to make a fist, make contact, throw a punch (without telegraphing), and are sure you can hit the target. Return to Plan A

as someone who has fought big people before, i would suggest moving around a lot more, as you have an advantage where u have a lot more stamina due to far smaller size

Ears, eyes, nose, throat, and groin. It doesn't matter how big and strong your opponent is in those areas because they can't be built up. I've ended plenty of fights against bigger opponents with strikes to those areas.

Tony is a pro at these videos o.o. Delivering of every information is precise and direct with flare here and there to keep us entertained. It's like his boxing is being applied to his "youtubing". I'd love to some bloopers too
