Hello! In the end of my day, before I go to sleep, I write a summary of the things that happened to me. I have built this habit and the greatest thing is that I can see that I am making progress day after day.

I've been studying English for the last five years. I admit that in the beginning was harder to not translate before speaking, but as time grew on I felt more confident, so I stopped translating. I try to immerse myself in English as much as I can by watching YouTube videos, reading, listening to music, and so on. I still keep in touch with native speakers through the Internet, which has really helped me a lot.

I like to listen to music, watch vídeos and movies with subtitles and speak with other people, it does not matter if I was wrong, I learn from my mistakes, and the most important thing is to try to speak it every day at all hours ... Thanks Christina!!!

I'm Brazilian and I could understand everything you said without reading the subtitles. I'm so glad! 😁

I am Slovak and I am glad I can listen to Christina, who I understand very well because she speaks slowly, simply and to the point. Thanks very much for the videos.

I'm 13 years old and it's been 2 years or so I've started studying english harder. Before that I would go to an english course and only practise twice a week. But now my english has improved so much and I'm so addicted into learning english that I wish I hadn't had to read books in portuguese, my native language, anyomore. I'd like to find an english partner to practice, rather a native speaker but if you'd like to train english with me, I'll be happy, but I don't know how can I find some way to talk to you.

One of the most problems we have in listening is that we learn the formal English language while the native speakers in daily conversations use the colloquial English

1) use English only dictionary
2) think in English to yourself
3) speak/talk to yourself out loud in English

Actually i'm learning english for almost a year now. And gradually learning all about english language. I read only english books it doesn't matter what the topic or title i just keen to it. Furthermore i read articles, watch english movies, personal vlogs, and i take down notes of some complex words that i just encounter for the first time and trying to find the meaning in the dictionary.😋😅as of now i've still striving to be fluent, and i believe that the time will come i find myself speaking english language effortless and natural.
