She's spot on.

Everything is about attaching the word to thoughts so it goes from thoughts to your target language and out, and not from thoughts to your native language, then match the word to other word in your target language, and out.

The difference in processing power you need is staggering.

Thank you so much. Sometimes I translate my native language to English. This is a lesson helpful to me. It was a great tip for the memories technique. You already told us about words with pictures. I will do it.

Hi Veronika, I love the way you say, "Comfortable." While you were speaking one interesting tip came to mind: When pronouncing new words or phrases, focus on the "Syllabic Voice, " a term I coined. It teaches the value of looking for the syllable that is stressed in the word. Thank you so much for this video.

I learn whole sentences saying them aloud. 5 days - 300 repetitions per day at least. Later I don't need to translate. I know the meaning of words straight away like in my native language. And also I remember the meaning longer than by learning separate words. This method is called: chunking. It was a real game changer in my learning process and communication skills in English and other languages.😊
