Great tips! I think adding things like images and pull quotes boost content engagement. One cool idea is to use Cover Block with headings and fixed backgrounds for sections in long form content.

Or, include some reader engagement with something like Crowdsignal to add polls or quizzes in your content.

I have a pattern I made, Pro Tips, that I insert to both visually break up a longer section and give scanners a value-based element that will draw them into the article. I’ve also been using the Yoast FAQ block, usually at the end, to give scanners an anchor and the block adds the FAQ schema markup to the post, which helps with SEO.

since there aren't too many style options, I think I'd rather just create my own table of contents linking with anchor tags. I guess if you have a ton of long blog posts that block or plugin would save time though
