Yay! Always happy to see your face, and I totally get it feeling weird to film after a few months away! Building a house is SUCH a process! I know it is crazy here now, my sister's house was just finished, and it took way longer than they originally planned. I started a new job in April and feel you there too! It took over so much of my time being busy and getting adjusted.

Congratulations on your second pregnancy and all the best for the last bit of it. Hope it isn't too rough on you! Since you have mentioned Guns of the Dawn the first time, I have been meaning to the check out. Still need to buy it though.
Best books of 2022 for me - I am glad my mom died, Ship of Magic, Jade Legacy, Theft of Swords, Son of the Black Sword, Jade Fire Gold, Empire of the Vampire, Justice of Kings.
If you haven't read The Justice of Kings yet, get it! Now! Great debut. Deserves more attention. And book 2 comes out in Febuary!

Currently I am busy with Tress in the Emerald Sea by Sanderson and I LOVE it! After the first Mistborn trilogy this might be my favourite book by him. Followed by Stormlight Archive.

My favourite reads of last year were the Green bone Saga by Fonda Lee (Jade Legacy might be one of my favourite books ever) and the Of Blood and Bone trilogy by John Gwynne (I think you'd love this series!)

Some of my standouts of 2022 are Legacy of the Brightwash by Krystle Matar, Dream of Death City by P.J. Nwosu, A Touch of Light by Thiago Abdalla, An Alchemy of Masques and Mirrors by Curtis Craddock and The Veiled Throne by Ken Liu. Highly recommend all of those to you!
