What's the best book you've read this quarter?

In my opinion The Cemetery of Forgotten Books books are not that different at all - all of them are amazing, and the writing style, the quality and the feelings are quite similar actually. I don't know why you heard the opposite, but do not be afraid - I just adore them all :)

You know what? This makes me realize that I should really get to all those modern classics I've been putting off for so long! Especially Shadow of the Wind. My favorite book of 2022 so far is Piranesi!

I feel so happy to see you hype a book that's been my favorite for ages! I wouldn't say the other books from Zafon are any different or less amazing than the Shadow of the Wind. Probably The Angel's Game is the most "magical realism" out of them all, but it is actually one of my favorites and I always go back to it everytime I reread the series. I would highly recommend you read them all! Also, Zafon's "YA" (I like to say they're books for all ages) are amazing too, really recommend Marina!

Everything you said about _The Tenant of Wildfell Hall_ was exactly what I felt about the book and the author. Particularly wanting more for the main character.

These books sound incredible! A shadow in the wind sounds the most intriguing to me. My favourite book is it ends with us by CoHo!

The Tea Monk and Robot series really sounds lovely. I’ve always enjoyed Becky Chamber’s writing too.

I know this is after the fact but I read and loved Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir this year. He wrote it in 2021. Sci-Fi but really about compassion and love for those that are different from us. Also loved Bear Town which is the first book of a series of three. The final book came out this year and I was able to see the author discuss it on a recent tour. He said he wrote each book so it could stand on its own. I’m really not sure if I’ll read the others some day because I’m happy to let the characters live where they are now. Don’t be put off by the hockey theme. It is really relatable to anyone.

The best books I've read this year are The Vanishing Half, The Story of a New Name, The Promise, and Piranesi! I can't wait to contiune The Neapolitan Novels cause the second book was way better than the first. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it!

Every time I watch one of your videos, I end up adding books to my TBR! Thank you for introducing me to Becky Chambers. One of the best books I’ve read this year is Siren Queen, by Nghi Vo. It was a mix of historical fiction and fantasy with a touch of horror. 💖💖💖💖💖

Wow! Look at all those good books, many unread by me, although on my tbr… mainly because the new and shiny get in the way ;) For example, last video you mentioned Mur Lafferty… so I am currently reading Six Wakes ;) (I am in Wake 2, so far I like it!)
