Scientists have been working for centuries to understand time and space, offering various theories. However, renowned physicist Sir Roger Penrose recently shared a surprising discovery made possible by the James Webb Space Telescope. It challenges the conventional understanding of time.

I don't understand the connection between a lack of a big bang and the non-existence of time. Why does one have anything to do with the other? My personal theory is that time and space are both infinite, and always have been. We may be located in a region of the universe where there was a big bang, but in a truly infinite universe, the observable universe is the merest speck.

We're getting closer and closer to having to admit TIME doesn't really exist...our puny little minds will melt!

If time in space does not exist those galaxies don't red shift

Time is a way to measure the relative motion of all the stuff we observe. It's now everywhere. We're just moving through space at our speed and direction.

Language is just a symbolic representation of human thoughts and emotions. similar to mathematics in physics.

When we "Peter out, " we just simply enter another life form (automatically) through energy. Life takes many shapes, sizes, colors, and intelligence. 👽

❤❤❤❤ Time is nothing more than just motion i.e. motion of all matter and energy in this universe. Without relative or absolute motion of all matter (includes matter down to the smallest fundamental matter, energy and even vibrations of atoms and molecules) time will come to a standstill ! 😂😂😂😂

If they are looking both into the past and into the future they should expect to see stars and galaxies that are older than the beginning of the Universe as it is believed to have started in the Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago. That is because while there may have been a starting point in the past, the future has no limit. You can look 14 billion years into the future and even 15, 16, 17 etc. billion years. The future goes on and on forever. Perhaps they are just seeing a mix of times when they view the Universe.

Spiritually allows for understanding. Science creates confusion without it!

The ancient sages understood this thousands of years ago. They accessed the timeless dimension of light with simple meditation practices. cf Vasubandhu, Dogen, Hsin Hsin Ming et al. "Yesterday's time and today's time do not go away, they are both in this moment. ... Yesterday flows into today, today flows into yesterday. ... Infinitely large, and infinitely small, no difference, for definitions have vanished and no boundaries are seen. To live in this reality simply say 'not two'." The implications of this are left as an exercise for the student.

Time is only a man made measurement of matter in motion (energy) through space.

Einstein’s gravity
Gab + Agab = 8πG /c^4 |* Tab
Einstein never had a deep understanding of space, time, constants and gravity. He only used patchwork techniques to make the equations work, he was a hard worker (very clear), but never had a deep understanding.
the big G in both sides proves that and his interpretations of both sides: spacetime geometry and energy density of matter.
they dealt with constants as if they are a way to fill the gaps in equations.
He never understood what gravity is, his equations are approach used patchwork techniques and connecting the geometry of space is what gave his equations the chance to work.

They rely on patchwork techniques without deep understanding of the fundamentals of physics that is why physics reached its limits.
they even couldn’t recognise the role of Pi in their equations (they just used constants to fill the gaps in their lack of understanding)
to be fair there were a good physicists such as: Maxwell, Planck, Newton, ….etc. even Einstein did a good work.
but that will not work anymore (patchwork techniques).

Greetings from Spinoza, who Einstein so deeply adored. A pity, that most STEM scientists of today are no longer confronted with philosophy in their education. Greetings also from Plotinus, Buddha and also Advaita Vedanta, which was so interesting for Schrödinger, Pauli, C.G. Jung and quite a lot of others of ‚early 20th Century scientists‘. In these philosophies (and mystical practices and experiences), the origin of our concept of space and time is very clearly outlined. In an surface perspective, CCC and EON are part of these explanations. In a deep and subtle view, there is only NOW (the timeless time) and HERE (the spaceless space) as gateways to a reality beyond space and time, a gateway to our ultimate reality of infinite consciousness, THE ONE. We should be more willing to drop some arrogance and learn from these sources.

Time may not exist, but we all are getting older not younger. And there is nothing we can do about it.

Why only the big bang theory is mentioned as questioned? If universe is not expanding(forget about accelerating) then dark energy also goes out of window.

Time does exist but as a process not a dimension nor an absolute entity.
and it’s normal that time is relative because time is a process that differ based on different observers (different calculations based on different situations)..
time in physics has direct connection to distance, that’s why they couldn’t understand time at subatomic scale.
(Time is a process).
The current understanding of space and dimensions, ….etc
And how they took space, time, some constants and their roles, …etc as axioms, ….. etc

Infinity and the role of Pi, space is one indivisible unit and how could the fine structure constant is a sign that space is one indivisible unit must be maintained, ….etc
Dirac had the right to wonder (LNH).
The only solution is to rely completely on future generations and invest in them (the fundamentals of physics are far much harder).

Time is related to distance and velocity (interrelationships), they only make things more complicated to satisfy their wrong interpretations.

3:50 Gravity affects the measurement tools (clocks), not time itself directly!
Because time is a process.
and the assumption that light experience no time is not accurate assumption.

Both Newton and Einstein had wrong understanding of time, time is not an independent entity (not a dimension nor an absolute entity).
Time is a (process).

There’s no chance to understand the fundamentals of physics without connecting both levels (subatomic and cosmological levels), that alone could take up to few hundreds of years of continuous scientific hard work.

It’s very dangerous to rely on current pseudoscientists, they just hide under the cloaks of some former good physicists but they have nothing to add to science, many of them are storytellers.

A force keeps objects in the gravitational paths in the curvature of space-time in general relativity? This is news to me. I have always understood the theory to claim that the gravitational influences on the motions between objects is the result of inertial mass warpage of their respective godesics such that the apparent curved paths are in fact the equivalent of straight lines in the curved, non-euclidean geometry of four-dimentional spacetime, and that the objects were therefore just following their natural inertial paths given the topology; hence, the notion of gravity as a force acting on bodies being merely apparent. Am I mistaken?

Concepts as I understand them are a representations of what humans not fully understand but at the same time they acknowledge its existence even if only mentally, …etc
usually it’s something agreed on its existence, but may not be agreed on its essence (ambiguity)…
to concise it’s a concept till they agreed on its essence!
