Or just look at the answers and recognize the only one that makes sense of a. All the rest is too much 50% is 150 so it needs to be less than that

My dumb brain would say 300 is 12 25s and 75 is 3 25s so really we just have 3/12=.25

All you have to do is look at the questions since 150 is 50% of 300 but we have 75 it can’t be half but since it’s not above half it can’t be B, C or D which means it has to be A. Pretty easy if you have a brain

Personally I said 150 is obviously a 50% of 300, and 75 is 50% of 150, then 75 is 25% of 300... This took like 4-5 seconds in my brain, or you could use method of elimination without bothering any math work cause obviously it is not >= 50%
