I grew in hawaii and have so many memories there and there was nothing like getting a plate lunch when youre hot and super hungry after swimming at the beach. Im gonna make this mac salad :) i like to mix in the cabbage and rice too :)

I had everything to make this today and this is my favorite Mac salad recipe now!! I’ve tried other recipes and they didn’t taste quite right, but this one reminds me of the one from the Hawaiian bbq places!

I know this comment might not mean much, but I really love this channel. Although I'm not vegan it made me discover many vegan foods and I don't get guilt tripped for being a meat eater. Love your channel, keep it up:)

I love Follow Your Heart's vegan mayo but it does get a bit runny. I like to add a little plain hummus to thicken.

might i suggest a big dollop of dijon mustard in that sauce? it goes a long way and can give some much needed funk to the dish

There is no force on earth that can make me overcook pasta. I already hate how mushy mac salad gets when it sits in its own dressing 😂 But that's just my personal preference. I love your recipes ❤

Why overcook the Mac though? For salad isn’t it better to undercook it so that way the pasta stays aldente throughout the mixing of the mayo?
