Hi Ed, nothing can be a Film replacement, but since 2021 I start making film emulations for digital age.
There's a lot of tecnique for achieving film look, everyday is a step into accurate emulation.

I have been using film and stopping myself from over-using it by setting a limit on how many rolls I use an outing. For a weekend, I only use 3 rolls. If it's an event, no more than 5. Once I'm done, I use a digital camera. I can't afford to buy film unless it's in bulk and then the developing and scanning add to that. If you could make a video discussing developing that would be great!
