Disconnect neg terminal, turn headlights on to drain everything. Wait 10 minutes or longer. Reconnect negative terminal (while you're there, pull and clean the body earth for the negative terminal also).

Can’t find a video showing me WHERE I can find the BCM/PCU/ECM in a 2012 Ford Flex. I ordered a new one and plan to do the work myself but can’t if I don’t know where it is. Please help

This procedure might clear the PCM but it does not reset and is really a waste of time. You will still be getting the error messages and warnings.

You seem to be going over what actually DOES need to be done after the fact. But....!!!! You didn't show or say how to clear the PCM at all.

Whatever website you are reading your instructions from is WRONG!
The only thing you have reset is your radio presets.
Unless you jump the disconnected negative battery lead to your connected positive battery lead for 5-10 minutes, your PCM will still retain it's memory.
Please DO NOT follow the procedure in this video!!!

You forgot the most important part! You have to disconnect you negative battery terminal then put a wire with alligator clips from your positive terminal to you negative wire (that is disconnected from the negative battery terminal). Then wait 10 min. That drains your capacitors. Then drive around normal.

We watched your video because my husbands trucks batteries had to be disconnect for 2 days.
Tried to drive and realized we need to reset the pcm.
If us a f250 2015.
Will your video work.
So do we start over and disconnect it all ?

This doesn't reset it. You need to drain the capacitors.

does doing this restore the "factory tune" to the computer? i have several mods on my 06 Mustang GT (Cold air induction, larger throttle body, etc) and have a performance tune loaded into the computer.

Very helpful car was acting crazy, this fixed it right up. Vastly improved fuel efficiency and smooth shifting to boot. Also the check engine light is still on. Should I still have it looked at.

This video will not reset the PCM period.
You need to disconnect the battery terminals and jumper short the battery cables for ten minutes. 😮
