Helene hit us pretty hard, I’m north of Tampa about one hour . This is going to be very bad if it ends up being a 3 . Tampa has horrible flooding already from so many near misses in the last few years . A direct hit will be catastrophic. Start your prep now!

You summed up the seriousness of this when you stated “It would be HORRIBLE, wherever it makes landfall.“ I lived in Tampa and there’s no way I would want to be there for possibly weeks without electricity or communication. No thanks. If you have an RV or second home, it’s a good time to get out. No need to put yourself in harm’s way or have to deal with the huge mess.
