Tropical Storm Milton is set to strengthen into a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico, as it approaches Florida.

Please keep in mind in order for the storm to hit Fort Myers. It has to come through Cape Coral first. Cape Coral sits out in the water and then Fort Myers is right beside it. Don’t forget to report on Cape Coral this time please!

I moved from Florida back to my home state of Texas last October. I feel terrible for my friends that live there. Evening or night time landfall hits are the worst. I no longer have to worry about hurricanes but seeing the state I lived in for over half of my life sucks to see. Good luck everyone, take the warnings and evacuations seriously. You guys are already soaked from the last storm, waters will most likely rise higher than ever. So much destruction already has caused water breaks to no longer be in place.

I'm predicting in the next 20 years or so, Florida's population is going to drastically decrease - a lot of insurance companies are just going to refuse to insure properties in a lot of the state
