I applied for the VA and received an email the next day the position had been canceled!!! I actually walked into the VA next to my home and was told they were in a hiring freeze 😬 yikes

I was up past midnight and got the notification for VSR (Rating) with VBA and applied. This morning when I woke up I saw the canceled email as well. So, why did the announcement go out then?

I also previously applied to VSR that closed back in March and I’m stuck on referred. I guess I’m not gonna hold my breath on that one

Thank you for addressing Project 2025 and the potential conservative administration. Its been making me wonder if I'll have an opportunity to apply in a couple years if there are huge cut backs.
