What is Project 2025? | what you should probably know about it

Hi, just trying to be more aware of the world around me.
Have you heard of Project 2025?

I know a lot of people are really struggling with to vote or not to vote? If you choose not to vote or are anti-voting, I respect your choice.

This video is not for you. I am not trying to convince any one of anything.

For me personally, Voting is not an end all be all, it's just one of the many tools of civic engagement and I plan to use any and all tools available to me when it comes to using my voice to advocate for change in my country.

Social media, voting, learning, educating, organizing.

Municipal Government (City or Town):

I'm a United States Marine. We are instructed to obey the orders of the President but, also, to obey our conscience first above our orders. The sad reality of it is that so few citizens that we swear to protect don't feel the same. They wave flags they have never marched to war under. Cheer for criminals and call them heros.

But I swore to defend the Constitution, protect Democracy and fight against Tyranny. I see the forces allied against freedom; I see the fight ahead of us and I say, in the parlance of our generation, "Bring it on."

Thank you, this video was perfect, elucidating and is just one of many things in the past few days that gives me the hope that we will see Tyranny defeated and Liberty for all preserved.

This literally makes me want to go to college and learn about politics among other things. I have been doing nothing but working fast food, coming home, playing games and drinking to do my best to ignore what is going on in the world. I am 25.

I’d rather not do that anymore, but I needed a purpose. If I can be vocal about issues I disagree with (not because I don’t like them, but because they’re morally wrong, ) then that seems like the passion I need.

I remember reading "1984" and "Fahrenheit 451" as required readings for middle school. They were fantastic reads but sounded very outlandish and like "yeahhhh I get it but that stuff doesn't actually happen". Uh....I wish I could go back to that confidence, but now they sound like thinly veiled prophecies for what is coming.

That was the most powerful line for me. I can think up so many things but struggle with actually doing...I need some motivation like that.

Also turned 18 a few months ago so I am excited to be able to vote, it upsets me so much that so many people just don't but in a system that encourages ignorance you can't rrally blame them as much as those at the top
