What is Project 2025?

A plan to radically reshape the federal government under a second Trump administration is gaining more attention. "Project 2025" is being pushed by the likes of the Heritage Foundation and its president, Kevin Roberts. Jim Lokay explains what it's about on "The Final 5."

You discussed only one of the many goals of project 2025. Coincidentally it's the topic many trump supporters agree with. Why did you not discuss the project's goal to eliminate unions and worker protections (pg 581), eliminate the department of education (pg 319), teach religious beliefs in public schools (pg 319), and use the military to break up protests (pg 133). There are many many more controversial goals of project 2025 and you chose deportation.

The Axios article says "deport millions of people in the U.S. illegally." The people to be deported are in the U.S. illegally. Another way to say it would be, "Millions of people who are in the U.S. illegally will be deported."

Reading the project itself, it's really messed up. Many of the policies within it do not obey America's constitution. I'm not American but I have several friends in America who are scared of having these policies implemented.

1. End the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (p. 246)
2. End the Office of Clean Energy Demonstration (p. 381)
3. End the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (p. 837)
4. END the Department of Education (p. 319)
5. End Food Stamps (p. 290)
6. Politicizing the FDAs role to policing access to abortion meds (pp. 457-459)
7. Redirect USDA to trade activism, removing foreign trade barriers to American GMO and pesticide-laden crops (p. 290)

and this is just the beginning... the whole thing is an autocrat's dream. No WONDER trump wanted total immunity!
