As a realtor, this girls parent's being able to get a home is an exception to the rule. And Charlie is correct, unless they were able to "buy down" their interest rate, they are paying so much more for a mortgage than people did during Trump's presidency. Many people who qualified for a home before 2020, can no longer qualify for a home.

As a millennial, i actually had a fighting chance to own a home as first time homebuyer under trump. That chance was obliterated under this biden/harris administration. Because i was able to save money even when i was paying rent when trump was in office. But now my rent is so high that even with me making great money, my bank account is going into the negatives trying to keep up with rent alone.

I used to live in Denton. People can say whatever they want. When Donald Trump took office, he lowered the corporate income tax. When he did, the largest private employer in the United States gave ALL of their employees raises. Thank you President Trump, and thank you Walmart. America, heck yeah!
