Oh, you can forgive them, but here’s the catch, don’t stay with them. They can’t cheat, if you are not there. Forgiveness is for you, but you don’t have to forget what they chose to do. This is why you end the relationship, even if it’s not a narc, don’t go back. Most cheaters will cheat again. Narc is generally more abusive, but cheaters in general treat you like garbage when they are cheating. Treat yourself with respect and don’t accept this behavior. Let them know, “one and done.” It’s an easy explanation, you cheat, you’re unworthy of my attention, I won’t forget, but I may forgive, but I will not stay.

He abuses everyone who forgives his behvaiour. He would turn into a inept little boy (grown man) to his daddy when he was in trouble and then when he gets what he wants, just like that, the sociopathic narcissist side returns. Jekyll & hyde. The entire time I knew him he treated his entire family like absolute garbadge. The things he would say about them were like horrendous. His father was like this little tiny tiny man limping around cleaning up all his messes, looking pitiful, while everyone would tell him not to. They dont change if you forgive them, they only learn that they can behave horribly more. There is a reason everyone whos ever had the misfortune of knowning him left his life and never returns.

He was constantly accusing me of cheating on him, which I never did. I would get accused just for smiling at someone. I accused him one time, he told me he invited the girl over while I was visiting my family, he told me he wanted a 3some with her, the entire apartment reeked of her perfume when I got home. He was so offended and got really angry at me for accusing him....
