Earwax Removal | Cerumen Impaction & Ear Irrigation
Показать описание
In this video, I demonstrate how to remove earwax (cerumen) through irrigation. Ear wax should not be removed unless it is causing bothersome symptoms such as decreased hearing, itchiness, dizziness, pain, etc. She has been experiencing excess earwax that has been causing her some decreased hearing, itchy ear canals and dizziness. I took a look in her ears and she definitely had some cerumen impaction going on. Flushing out ear wax is one of my favorite procedures to do as a nurse practitioner. It is a simple task but very effective at relieving symptoms when the ear wax is removed.
