Great advice, just wanted to mention that the water you use to rinse shouldn't be hot, it should be lukewarm, hot water can lead to a feeling of dizziness due to the temperature difference between the hot water and the fluid in the cochlea of your inner ear. But also make sure to get all the water out because other wise you can cause a bacterial or fungal infection.

I will still use hydrogen peroxide . Though I filled up both ears with it, using an ear syrine, everyday for 1-2 weeks . Where it completely removed ALL wax and why I got an ear infection, water in the ear . If there were pictures showing the " normal " amount of ear wax to always be present . It has been said, just to put two drops in each ear, daily . To keep it soft, so it will come out naturally, when chewing .

Thank you for sharing another wonderful technique Dr. Mandell.
My Mom always said to never put anything in your ear that is bigger than your small finger. She said to take a washcloth, wrap it once around your small finger and gently rub circular inside your ear. She also said if you get water in your ear turn your head to the side that has the water in it and the water should drain out. She also said after bathing to take your towel when drying off and push your cuticles back on your fingers and toes gently. My Mom was a great teacher in many ways. 😊 🙏 🙌 ❤️ 🫂 🤗 ✝️

He is right! My local MD did that in his office but he used a dishwashing detergent and warm water and used a small syringe to suck the residue from my ear.
