Macros with 3 eggs: 582 calories, 68C, 21F, 32P
Macros 1 egg + 100g egg whites: 491 calories, 68C, 12F, 30P
3 eggs
250g peeled potatoes
50g onion
50g canned chickpeas
5g oil

Sauce:
25g soy sauce
10g harissa
5g honey
50g water
Black pepper, 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Start by peeling the potatoes and chop them up into bite-sized cubes. Transfer them into a microwave-safe container and microwave for 5 minutes at 600W.

Meanwhile dice the onion and prepare the sauce. Fry the potatoes in 4g of oil in a pan on medium-high for 2-3 minutes. Add the onions with a bit more oil and keep frying for 2 more minutes. Now add chickpeas and fry for 1 minute. Then add the sauce, give everything a stir before adding the eggs, reduce the heat to medium-low, close the lid, and let the eggs cook for 2-3 minutes.

Finally, add chopped cilantro and enjoy :)

The harissa is from my country Tunisia, I already have an entire jar in the fridge, that is a very good brand
We ofc have different brands
It's an essential at every Tunisian home
And thank you for your amazing recipes❤

I don’t eat breakfast but I’ll be trying this for my lunch with chicken instead of chickpeas to add some more protein ❤

Pro tip if you have the room for calories: add feta cheese on top at the end 🤤

I’ve never had breakfast skillets but this sounds yummy. They’re always way to high calories in the restaurants.

I’ll prolly leave the skins on I don’t have time to peel them

looks amazing I think it will be better with some tomatos, Could you make more recipes with Harissa or anything from North Africa. Have a good day

Hi Felu, will you add high protein high calorie recipes in the cookbook in the future? Or additional options to make one of your recipes high calories as well? (So it's bulk & cut friendly)

I make almost the same thing except always use sweet potatoes. I enjoy them more than potatoes as they make my stomach feel great, whereas potatoes do not. Everyone is different. Great dish though :)

In terms of protein to calorie ratio, the protein content is low. The recipe is great, though!

I would have to skip the chickpeas... They rate above fried liver to me for taste, and that only marginally.

I do love me a breakfast skillet though.
