I waterfasted in 2015 for 25 days to attempt to tame Rheumatoid Arthritis.
At the end of that time I no longer had any symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Bloodwork for CRP and sed rate no longer show any significant numbers and my hips no longer hurt.
That situation remains the same. Best thing I ever did for my health!

I always enjoy listening to Dr. Goldhammer. I find that you have to hear things a few times before they actually sink in and you can remember all of this valuable information.. at 77 now I have been Whole Foods plant-based for a full two years and got all my medication a few that they were and lost 50 pounds which was my goal. And yes, all my friends are younger than I am. I’ve never done a water fast, but I would actually enjoy doing one. I don’t eat anything from dinner until breakfast so about 14 hours of fasting but long term fast sounds intriguing..

The title “Can Fasting Save Your Life” is a nod to Herbert Shelton’s “Fasting Can Save Your Life” written 60 years ago. Father of the modern Natural Hygienic movement.

Love these videos. But I too would love to see a video of what to eat coming off of a fast.

Excellent interview, my friend. Doctor Goldhammer is such an interesting person. I have only watched the videos regarding his opinions of the pleasure traps. Eventually, i will read his books. His waterfast approach is very interesting, and I would love to pursue it one of these days. For no other reason, but to feel better and improve my health.

Back when you did the video about your 10 day fast, I posted a comment and asked you to do a video going into more detail about your current tightened up diet. You replied that you would but as far as I know, have not. Although I know the gist of a WFPB diet, I but am curious about details such as how much sodium per day, how much fat and from what foods, your eating window, etc. I would love a video showing a typical day’s meals.

Good explanation of effects of added salt, oil and sugar— that keeps our weight on, because keeps us in pleasure and addiction trap. 💫🌟

Does intermittent fasting have similar health benefits? And if so, what might be an optimal fasting time?

My oncologist told me there was no way to measure Lean Muscle…as my concern was cancer cachexia. He said they had no way to measure this. Is there a way??

Wait. I thought you were doing this way of eating for decades. How was your BP so high?

I started doing random 1 to 5 day fasts 2 years ago, primarily to stop my snacking habits but I looked into it and found all of the health benefits.
This year I am doing a five day fast every month and then some other 1 to 5 day fasts as needed but this month I am including alternate day eating.
The rest of the time I only really eat meat :)
Much healthier now compared to 2018 when I was eating plants only.

Jeff, you said you changed your diet after true north. Have you added more fruit or foods with potassium to keep your BP down?

Jeff, how did your ApoB levels change, if at all after fast?

What was repeatedly bleeped out of this interview? Was it the word "covid"? It sounded like he was saying, "long term ...." Why was a word repeatedly cut out of this video?

Jeff, how did you change your diet? Were you vegetarian or vegan? I thought you eere whole food plant based. Glad your blood pressure came down.
