On that laptop overheating one, id probably check the bios to see if there’s any funny business going on (probably not)
Also can check to see the power settings on control panel, to see if there’s a specific performance power plan setting when u plug in the laptop…might be overworking that laptop..lol
Other than that, not much more i can think of
Who knows, maybe the charger is screwed up
