Etsy should be ashamed of themselves. Been with Etsy 7 years. They don’t mind grabbing that profit from you. Will shut you down and remove listings like a nasty spider 🕷️ no mercy, no questions. Want to stay on the site? Fix your items as best as you can. I try to
look at the glass half full even though I’m frustrated. I fix it, delete the removed postings and repost correctly. That’s all they are asking. That’s the only way to get everyone on board and that’s the glass half full.

I will build my own platform and take off etsy and ebay and give a value for people who work hard and trying to scale up there business i promise you

I don’t get it. I invested time and effort for a year. 5 star average and meticulous about copyright and TM but just suspended without apparent cause or explanation. I appealed but now it’s permanent and ZERO explanation. What a terrible way to treat your vendors.

Etsy seems to suspend stores in erratic fashion and they sometimes do not give a reason

My successful store got suspended not for copyright but for Violating Handmsde policy since the bots found my own images on other marketplaces!!! Etsy is so awful to their sellers

Can you make a video on that matter? I'm interested how the process works, is their store dead? What is happening now? Is etsy gonna do anything or just close them down for good? Will they comback? What is the most likely course this will go now? Will they have to pay anybody or just delist the infringing article? Why is etsy taking them down, etsy lives off the fees of the sales, they have no interest in taking such a huge store down? In your experience, did stores come back and what percentage of stores never made it back?

Must be a nightmare for the shop owner.

It's very hard to know what's trademarked or not. When you post stuff that isnt trademarked then someone puts a word on uspto next thing you know its trademarked when it wasnt before..Thats why i have shopify just in case my etsy store shuts down..Etsy needs to have some sort of AI that detects even a word and lets us know to take down listing and not just shut us down completely...Any advice for this situation or are we all in the same boat.

I have a question about copyright and trademark. I have a crochet shop, and started adding my patterns on Etsy. My question is if I make a doll and I write the pattern I have the copyright of that pattern, but if I make a doll that looks like spiderman do I still have the copyright?

Copyright is serious business!!!! I've read they're back im sure they paid a hefty fine and had a lawyer or....lawyerS. For us little fish....that would be a death blow.
