There are many fraudulent buyers on Etsy who request unconditional refunds, causing severe losses for sellers. I don't understand why this company is allowed to exist in the U.S.
There is no customer service, and it's become common for accounts to be suspended without any reason. They don't treat sellers like people, and there is too much unfair treatment. If sellers were to unite and sue Etsy, the company would likely go out of business.

I got my account reinstated but it wasn't because of this i think, i left comments on Etsy's linkedin and they replied to me and a day later i got an email saying that it was an error. 😊

Etsy just took my 5 stars badge and 3 listings down and sent me a generic email about "one more time and you are suspended", my business is 100% not violating any policies (heavily hand altered wigs with my own pictures that were stollen by Chinese sites before), I suspect competition reporting my shop. And there is NOTHING I can do as every time I reach to customer service wanting to prove to them that my business is 100% mine and honest, I don`t get any answer. 5 years of hard work and 10s of thousands $$ gone. Why not just sell $hit at Amazon at this point and save all the hustle?

This worked!! It took exactly two weeks. I submitted BBB complaint 08/09/24 & got my shop back 08/24/24. There was no email notification, I tried accessing my shop daily until I finally got back in. Thank you this video saved me!!!!

Etsy Cancelled my account and said I was related to 2 other accounts. I have only ever had one other account that I never sold from, years ago. There is no way whatsoever I am related to anyone else! Pisses me off! It's like being accused of a crime you didn't commit.

I sell POD t-shirts. My Etsy account was banned after the first sale to a US customer. I submitted my first appeal in mid-June, and it was rejected. Two weeks later, Etsy re-opened the appeal feature.

After following your video, I submitted my second appeal, and after 4 DAYS ONLY, Etsy reinstated my account.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I was kicked off Ebay for life with no explanation. I filed a complaint 4 days ago with the BBB and just received a message from Ebay reinstating my account!! I seriously cant believe it!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart and hope this works with others!! Blessings

I just filed a complaint about 2 shops Etsy closed in April and May. It is good to know that these places shouldn't force their own rules! There should be a standard business ethics they have to follow as well. Thanks for the video

I wanna say thanks so much because this actually worked for me. My shop with over 150 sales was reinstated after filling a complaint with BBB. Although I believe that I was extremely lucky considering that 8 of my listings were taken down due to IP. But somehow BBB managed to make it happen. I am about to try this method, i am brand new, like my store hasnt even opened yet. I hired someone on fiverr for initial shop set up only, because I am just drowning & struggling to get off the ground. My shop was banned on Saturday night, i appealed, I answered their questions about my log in location, I explained about the temp fiverr employeee gave the location they gave me, then today I got notified im still banned?? I am not aware of anything I've done wrong, how are we supposed to do better with little to NO explanation?

I created my original account on Etsy and as soon as I made my first sale my account was suspended for no reason. I submitted numerous appeals and chatted, emailed, and even called Etsy but nothing…. I was finally told to create a new shop. So I did… and boom…. Suspended again without any explanation (policies followed). When appeal was submitted I received a response that decision was final and any accounts I will create in the future will be disabled.
I found your video and submitted my proof and reached out to BBB.
And being a bit impatient, I also reached out to CEO via email.

I tried that. Etsy never replied and then BBB told me when they don’t reply, BBB will mark the issue as “solved” and I cannot file the same complaint again.

If a Seller makes waves on Etsy....They will close your Business down...They Scammed me out of my Gucci Bag with a Buyer by telling her to keep my bag no need to return it to me, plus they gave the Buyer a Full Refund also....Would you still want to sell on

Thanks! This is great advice. I'm from the EU. My relatively new etsy shop got banned. After months of no sales, I finally had a shirt that sold 3x in two days (and even 11 more people had my product in their cart), the day after that, my shop got suspended... I appealed, got denied... I responded to that email and I'm now waiting for a response, but otherwise I will definitely give this a try. Will give an update....

Also... The first order that I got, because Etsy suspended my account, the person that ordered from me opened a case against me saying: bummer that this item is no longer available and requested a refund (and got a full refund). I was devastated, and there was nothing I could do. I cancelled the order at my production partner. The weird part is, that this order is still open. And it says that I'm to late shipping the item out... I don't know why Etsy gives a full refund, but does'nt cancel the order. Do they believe I will ship the item for free?🤔 I can't cancel it myself because I'm suspended... This makes my account look bad... 😢
