You can bring up a detached piano roll window on Logic so everything appears if you wanted. Just highlight what instrument you want then hit command+4 and a detached piano roll window will pop up.

The exact reason why I’m here. I’ve noticed Logic doesn’t translate the drums very well. What I mean by that is when I drag or open a kick into Logic, it loses the original sound and kinda loses the bottom. I thought I was tripping but this actually proved my suspicions.

Just so you know, Logic 10.5 has solved everything besides backgrounds, as well as some features that aren't included in FL, such as Quick Sampler. But hey, use what you want. By the way, you can use command + 2 (or any number) to have a separate windows for Piano roll and mixers. So, yeah XD

At the end of the day it’s preference. I see your point of view in a lot of situations. I wouldn’t say it’s better or worse than but a preference. Just my opinion tho.

You can undo and redo the channel strip in Logic Pro X. You can resize windows in Logic the exact same way you do in FL and you can import custom images in Logic.

I switched to fl the other day for exactly the same reason man! those drums just don't hit as hard in logic sadly... been using logic for time like 5 years +... heard its something to do with the sound engines.. anyway its not that i cant get my drums to hit hard on logic i can use a few compressors soft clippers eq and some distortion to achieve the same sound although this takes up so much time and i want to spend more time composing and actually making the beats. So i feel you bro ! hopefully apple sort this problem out cause i can deff tell when its been made on FL as well your not just bugging ! anyway great video man and you got my sub.

Hey, which one of the 2 Daws do you think is the best for vocal production (recording quality an mixing) ?

I'm using fl studio but I'm thinking about switching to logix pro or having both of them.... so I'm tryna know if logic is better for vocal production and if it's worth it?
