When you 11:15 when you use reverse in FL Studio you need to put it in reverse, first then find the spot you wanna chop. Idk why it doesn't just reverse in exact proportions.

When using 808s in FL, make sure that you touch the EQ or BOOST knob a bit to give it a bit more depth and noise to them.

I love the fact you not scared to try out some new stuff and get out of your comfort zone. As always, crazy beats Ocean 🔥🔥

For that grid problem...you can adjust the size/line of the grid in the magnet icon on the top left of the piano roll! Hope that helps.😀

once you enabled the envelope(ADSR) in the sampler, there's no need to click on "cut self". the ''cut self" option is for when you don't want to use the envelope.

11:16 when you reverse the sample on fl studio, it swap the entire loop starting from the end, so you had to just pick up the part that you chopped.

Damn ocean really made the switch to FL😭 guess it’s time for me to give up Logic. But proud of you brotha your really trying to grow as a producer and level up man. But not just in music In all aspects of life. You’ve come a long way since you started your channel to just simply make music. Much love Ocean keep striving and keep growing♥️

It puts it on the line when the first note is made in the step sequencer if you want them to be in the box you'll need to stretch it in the piano roll or start the pattern directly on the piano roll🔥🔥 smashed it

That part of the audio you cut you should have made unique before you reversed it, it needs to be made unique in the play list. The drop down menu gives you that option, the reason to make each cut unique is so the whole loop isn't reversed just the cut portion of the loop. Hope that makes sense 😅

Jo for the kick problem, you can use the magnet in the upper left of the piano roll, to activate snapping to beat/bar/... ;)

Ocean, .love it. I'm also a Logic guy who's tryna learn FL. But I think your live playing in Logic is better than clicking in patterns in FL any day.

Much more fun video than usually. I can tell FL gives you that energy 😄

I think its great to try other DAWs from whatever one you’re used to, because they could have (and Do oftentimes) have features that you could be missing out on! I’m a long-time Logic user who is trying Bitwig Studio and I really like how you can just type the Name of a particular Instrument or Effect plugin (even all in Lower-Case) and BOOM… there they are if you know you’ve already installed them on your system, its a much faster way of tracking something down than hunting & scrolling through sometimes long contextual menus that come up in Logic! Bitwig can be more flexible too in other ways like being able to Modulate practically ANYTHING - even 3rd-Party plugin Parameters! Logic Pro’s Drummer though is something else that the likes of Bitwig can’t seem to touch and thats what i’ve always loved about Logic!

However if you collaborate with people who use FL Studio and you like it, then absolutely go for it!
