Jeff Cassman is a former Air Force Intelligence Analyst and a predictive behavioral modeling expert for an ad agency in Nashville, TN. He’s a cradle Catholic and first attended a traditionalLatin Mass in 2000. He later studied theology at Holy Apostles College in Connecticut.

Imagine, as a Catholic, being asked if the pope professes the true faith. And you can't answer.

When I witness a murder take place in broad daylight, I don't need the authorities to let me know who the murderer is. I know it because I have seen it and heard it from the beginning. Official denouncements and penalties come later from the authorities when they finally arrest the criminal and figure it out.

Over the last 35 years I've heard the words "in the spirit of Vatican 2" many times. I never heard a priest or Catholic educator say the words "in the spirit of Florence". Something is wrong.
