I didn’t think The Underworld song could get more heart wrenching, but I have been proven wrong. Sad, but in the ways that makes it my favorite animatic of this song. I always imagined Eurylochus might comfort Odysseus in some way. Man was struggling, and no one helped. You captured the emotions here very well. Circe coming to help them forwards is a nice touch.
Also, I know people have said it countless times, but… _POLITES CATCHING THE BABY_

Viewing all the animatics for this song, I think you’re the only one ive seen who had the Idea of Polites catching and singing to the infant. I always pictured it like that and seeing it animated made me bawl harder xD

i was freaking out that this didn't have more likes when it's easily one of the best underworld animatics i've seen, only to see you just posted it a few days ago. holy cow, the dead crewmen in a massive wave. polites catching the baby. odysseus' expression when he first hears his mom. i'm gonna be thinking about this for at least the next 6-8 business days. well done. thanks for making this.

I’ve watched so many animatics trying to build a playlist “movie” of Epic and this one is my favorite Underworld animatic for a few reasons: The one I had before had a beautiful “mom” moment, but couldn’t find a way to smoothly connect all four transitional moments with the baby, Polites, Mom, and back to the intensity with the screams. You did that AND made them all feel emotionally significant, it’s absolutely beautiful and tear-jerking! My only gripe could be the outro, but honestly it does give some needed room to breathe after the intensity of this animatic, so yours is now slotted in there! Thank you so much for making this animatic, we needed more variety in Underworld animatics and you bring something so incredibly valuable in your visuals to this song! They elevate and smooth out what really is such a jarring disjointed song (and for good reason! It’s chaos in his brain rn) and that takes amazing skill with storyboarding and execution! Well done!! ❤

I’ve just watched all the Underworld animatics to find my favorite. Yes I’m bawling my eyes out.

Yours is the winner. Your video has the most detailed and gripping depictions of the Souls out of everyone. Of course Polites catching the infant is a HUGE moment emotionally for everyone who’s seen this, but your vision of the 558 men rising in a tidal wave to accuse Odysseus is a stroke of inspiration that apparently nobody else envisioned. Also huge props for not depicting any of the souls as sperms.

I’ve been making a playlist of one animatic per song, and I have left the Underworld saga until last because I have dreaded putting myself through this song repeatedly. But because of you, and what you’ve made, I’m glad to have done it. ❤

You'd think that, since it's on a song that most bigger animators haven't covered, it would get more attention.
