This one was so cool to put together and I tried out some different effects and tried to use panning lol. But I really love how it turned out! I honestly, cried a little when I first heard the his mom 😭.

I love how Polites and Odysseus mom who didn't die of divine intervention, were not portrayed as creepy ghost creatures unlike the crew that did die because of godly intervention

In greek mythology, when people died through godly hands, the had to suffer in the Underworld and its quite good shown here

I love how you put Polites & Odysseus's mom in different colour than the rest of 557 men. It's also in gold which somehow emphasize that Polites & mom were two of the "lights" in Ody's life. They also in full body illustration which kinda show they didn't hold any grudges towards him, compared to the creepy looks of the 557 men ❤.

I love your animatic because it shows what Jay said about the undead only relaying their last thoughts to Odysseus and his crew instead of directly interacting with them, with Polites and his mom just singing into space.

Really made it feel as if Polites came in at the right moment to save him from overwhelming despair with how you have that introduction, lovely animatic!

Actively wiping the tears that come up during the "waiting" part, but i especially love the pain in his voice when he says "all i hear is screams", and i love this animatic especially because the way his crew just looks stone faced at him as they parrot "all i hear are screams", like theyre reassuring him that his pain is as private as he wants it to be

This was absolutely stunning. Your tormented spirits gave me a jump scare from how horrifying they were. Seeing Odysseus's mother was painful as hell and you did justice to the scene. I also adored the last shot of the prophet, and how mysterious and threatening he feels. Great job!

So good! I especially love the melting effect you do on his mom and Polites, it's so heartbreaking to watch them fade away like that.

The color choices all felt so perfect and fit the atmosphere so well! Having his mom and Polites both be these beacons of light in the ominous gloom combined with their parts of the song legit almost made me cry. You can really see the emotion from both them and Odysseus as he sees them. Really all of his expressions felt perfect as he went through so many emotions, and my lord the addition of the prophet at the end, having him staring down as the ship approaches felt so perfectly ominous especially knowing the next song to come.

Have Polities and Anticlea shown in a warm golden glow while the soldiers had skeletal like appearance in an eerie green is a nice touch

I love that you included them finding Tiresias at the end instead of him just being there for the start of No Longer You, most versions I've seen don't address that.

The small and scared voice when Odysseus says, "Mom?" Is just depressing- just the way the music gets softer as he mourns his mom who was faithfully waiting for him all those years-😭😭😭

I love how this emphasizes the regrets and oddyseyus gets when gets flashbacks to those who died before him

Polities and Odysseus' mum being the only ones not blue or together, being up on the pieces of land instead and being lit yellow, is so good!! Just shows they weren't damned, just finding their friend/son for the underworld to share their last thoughts- Oh, it's so good!! Well done! I also love your style so much!
