🚨 No warrant? No problem—if it’s in plain view!

If it’s hidden, they can’t go digging. However, police are well within their rights to to search and seize evidence without a warrant, as long as it’s visible without additional intrusion.

Literally every cop before cameras were invented:

"I didnt lift no blanket, it was in plain view the whole time"

Well you forgot to mention how often police officers lie. They will say they see something that doesnt actually exist.

I sense the odor of marijuana on this lawyer's breath. Take him in to custody and search his office.

Things that don't qualify as plain view if your lawyer is worth a damn: thermal imaging, that's not how the human eye sees. wall penetrating sonar and radar, once again not how a human eye sees. Drones over private property, humans can not fly in order to avoid the earthly limits of private property to see inside it. Huge towers that exist only to have cameras on top, no plain person doing normal things could have that view unless there's a place nearby like an apartment building on which they could stand. And if your lawyer is really good, any sort of magnified optic because once again that's not how the human eye sees and is therefor not plain.
