Seeing the death of Fang's babies must have really ached Lula's heart. 1:51-1:59 That is so touching the way she hugged Fang. As if she were saying "You poor, innocent creature."

The way she hugged Fang. A grieving mother wanting to comfort another grieving mother. I kinda wish Lula would have joined them on their travels.

It must warm this witch's heart to see Fang when she was a mother and when Spear had been a father.

But it must have been terrible when she saw the tragic deaths of their respective families. Devour by the same monsters.

Yet it is this same tragic death that unified this duo and made them stronger.

This show helped me realize, it doesn't matter what anyone says or thinks, animals have lives just like you and me. They play, and they fear, and they love, and they grieve just as any person would. For all of the violence and ruthlessness that takes place in nature, there is also great beauty, peace, and understanding. That's what I love most.

They say fang moved on from the death of her children because as an animal instinct comes first for her but I don’t think we have the right to just say that she didn’t forget this animals don’t forget traumatic experiences maybe they remember that.

Honestly, this show is beautiful. No words needed yet you can understand one's feeling grief for the other.

I would really like to see an episode of how Fang met her mate. Chances are is that he was possibly killed by another ruthless predator (maybe by the same horned tyrannosauruses from episode one) and both the mate and Fang presumably teamed up to fight it but Fang was given time to escape and her mate might've sacrificed himself just so she can live.

The one thing i absolutely love about Lula's design is despite having dead black eyes they aren't empty. The two white dots aren't pupils but the reflection of light from the tears in her eyes.
She's a crone and may be evil by many standards but heartless she most certainly is not

Lula knows what it's like to lose children, so she sympathized with Fang. She knew that same kind of pain.

I wonder how it would have turned out if Fang's kids had lived. They were both warming up to Spear before the tragedy. Would Fang have accepted him to the family or been more cautious? It would be cute to have Spear adopt Fang and her kids

Fang’s babies death must have been hard for Lula to watch as she also lost her daughter. She understands what it’s like to lose a child, and as such empathises more with Spear and Fang

In the first episode we saw Fang’s babies just long enough for it to hurt when they died

In this episode, we saw just enough of them to feel the pain again when we revisited their deaths

On the plus side, this episode confirms that there is an after-life in primal. So when Fang dies, she'll be reunited with her first children.
