It's really unfair that the mother of witches is still alive, but there are reasons. She's too powerful, even for Spear and Fang.
But I believe that the real reason is that she is the baby maker of the coven and that her death means the end of the convent. And Lula doesn't want that. She wants to save Spear and Fang and not the death of the convent.

Fun thing I noticed. When Lula "tells" Fang to go and get Spear and leave, the head witch looked like she was gonna go after Fang, but Lula kept her distracted.

I kind of wish Lula had joined Spear and Fang on their adventures. But I guess the reason Genndy decided not to let her join them was because she was just to overpowered. Primal is a show about surviving with the odds against you and having a magical being on your side is kind of unfair. Plus who knows if she even had a choice to leave the coven.

Lula’s faces are always so cute and innocent. I wish she didn’t die and lived with Spear and Fang. She would be like a grandma for them😇

I can't be the only person who thought of Aku when the Witch Priestess shaped shifted. I seriously believed Primal was going to be an Origin Story for Aku.

I instantly broke into tears at the fact i knew lula's part in the show/series was over.

Lula did the right thing by letting Fang and Spear go even if it meant costing her her own life. Her bravery and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
