I think some of the inflammation is coming from pesticide residue on grains and any food for that matter.

Can I please clarify the sugar comment. Are you saying honey is considered an added sugar so stick to the maximum of 3 teaspoons of that a day, or does that fall under the natural sugar with fruit?

I have for approx 1 month been doing gluten free, low sugar diet for my daughter. We are taking some supplements and will be starting others in a few days. including spore Probiotics, methylation complete, Vit D, Omega 3, Buytrate, Collagen and L-Tyrosine.

How long would one expect to see the difference?

Kids get soooo much sugar from the morning from fruityoghurt, processed juice and cereals! No wonder they are unstable.

Thanks for the video ! I just had a 1st meeting with my 5 year old to talk about concern of ADHD and I asked her thoughts about food and ADHD and she said there are no studies relating both. Would you be able to send me links of some of these studies so I can forward to her?
Do you know any doctor in New Jersey that would follow more "natural" way and that should be willing to see it in a holistic way?
Thank you so much

You really need to consult with a nutrition expert because the information you're providing is only just scratching the surface of treating ADHD, especially in more severe cases. You are right about grains...they need to be eliminated as well as artificial anything. But elimination only covers half the protocol. These kids will still crave those things and eventually cheat. The other half of the protocol needs to be a comprehensive list of what foods to replace the bad stuff with, ie., good fats - EV Olive oil, Omega 3s from fish, cod liver oil; protein from grass fed cows, chicken, etc; pasture raised chicken eggs, organic cheese; beneficial bacteria from sauerkraut, kefir, etc. There's so much more to improve a child's learning ability, but you'll need to do some research. I subscribe to Dr. Sten Ekberg, Dr. Eric Berg, Dr. Mark Hyman, just to name three. But you still need to do some discerning because no advice can be 100% reliable, especially today in such a complex world.
